SupplierLens Privacy Policy

SupplierLens ("we", "the extension") is a browser extension that shows English-language risk summaries for suppliers on 1688.com. We designed it to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• The company name shown on the 1688 supplier page you are viewing. It is sent to our server solely to retrieve public business-registry data (registration date, capital, legal representative [masked], operational status, and counts of lawsuits/penalties). It is cached for up to 30 days and then deleted.
• A random installation ID (generated on install) used to count your free monthly checks. It is not linked to your identity.
• Your license key, if you purchase Pro, and your payment email held by our payment processor (Creem). We never see your card details.

What we never collect

No browsing history, no pages other than the 1688 supplier page you're viewing, no keystrokes, no personal data from 1688, no sale or sharing of your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Third parties

• Creem — payments and subscription management as Merchant of Record (their privacy policy applies to payment data).
• Licensed providers of China's public business registry — the data source for company facts.

Retention & deletion

Queried company names: auto-deleted after 30 days. Installation IDs: until you uninstall. License records: while your subscription is active. To request deletion, email supplierlens.dev@gmail.com and we will confirm within 7 days.
